Students of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian province were among the winners of the National Astronomical Olympiad. Zofia Kaczmarek from Torun and Paweł Ciuba from Wloclawek won second place. Marshal Piotr Całbecki 12 March, congratulated young astronomers. Students were also donated by the Marshal's astronomical equipment: binoculars "Finderscope comets" with a tripod.
Uczniowie z województwa Kujawsko – Pomorskiego znaleźli się wśród laureatów Ogólnopolskiej Olimpiady Astronomicznej. Zofia Kaczmarek z Torunia oraz Paweł Ciuba z Włocławka zajęli w konkursie drugie miejsce ex aequo. Marszałek Piotr Całbecki 12 marca złożył gratulacje młodym astronomom. Uczniowie otrzymali też ufundowany przez Urząd Marszałkowski sprzęt astronomiczny: lornetkę „szukacz komet” ze statywem.

Nationwide Astronomy Olympiad took place after the time 58. The subject of the competition concerns astronomy, physics and astronomical aspects of geography. The final struggle with the participation of 21 students from across the Polish took place between 5 and 8 March at the Planetarium and Astronomical Observatory in Chorzow. In addition to the theoretical task, participants had to perform an independent astronomical observation.
